Clockbeat Timesheet
Your timesheet page is the first page you see after you log in with a valid password. You will be positioned on the current week and there will be three lines available to type in time details. Don't worry if you have more than three lines to complete. If you add some details and update, three more blank lines will become available.
On each line you enter:
Activityto record a line on your timesheet an activity must be chosen. Click on the dropdown box to chose your activity.
Commentan optional comment. This is limited to a few words (80 characters), so don't try to write too much. This can also be used for recording keywords or codes to informally mark certain tasks. To make more room for input click on >>>
Mon - Sunthe actual hours spent on the activity. A decimal point is used to describe fractions of hours (not minutes), so an hour and a half is 1.5.
Once complete, or when all available lines are full, click You are done.
The following links are available at the top of your timesheet:

The system can be run in two different ways, and it depends what your group administrator has chosen. In the simplest approach, all available activities will be in your dropdown. If an activity is not there, someone with the authority to update activities needs to add the one you need. Click Show Archived Choices if you suspect the category you want may have been archived (see below).
Where there are more activities than would comfortably fit in a dropdown, you will have the menu option More Activities at the top of the page. Clicking that will bring up a small window to select activities you want to see on your dropdown. These are chosen by category, or if they are not in a category, individually. The most common example is where activities are categorised by project. If you select the project, all activities on that project will appear in your dropdown. Some categories are fixed, often used for activities everyone will need - holidays, sick etc. You cannot unselect them. Categories can also be archived, and Show Archived Choices is at the bottom of this window. Click it if you suspect the activity or category you want may have been archived (see below).
To add a category highlight it in the left pane, and click To remove a category highlight it in the right pane and click The dropdown at the bottom demonstrates the result of your choices. When you are done just close the window.
If you want to use an old activity, which may not be in common use anymore, it may have been archived by whoever controls the setting up of activities. To check you will need to click on Show Archived Choices. This will then show all activities including archived ones. If it is there, use it as normal.
